Through the certification process, the requirements for the qualification and certification of welders for fusion welding are established. Welder certification ensures compliance with the technical rules for the systematic testing of welder qualifications, enabling these qualifications to be universally accepted.
We conduct welder certification according to the following standards:
- EN ISO 9606-1:2017: Fusion Welding – Part 1: Steels
- EN ISO 9606-2:2009: Fusion Welding – Part 2: Welding of Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys
- EN ISO 14732:2014: Welding of Metallic Materials by Automated and Automatic Welding
Welder/operator certificates are issued with TUV AUSTRIA accreditation for a validity period of 3 years under Scheme 2, with the option to issue certificates under Scheme 1, where the validity period is 2 years. All certificates are registered in the TUV Austria database and are publicly accessible. These certificates are recognized worldwide.
