    I am guided by the idea that each day must bring new experiences and challenges to overcome. After more than 10 years of experience in quality management, I can say that I have had the opportunity to engage with various systems and industries, as well as to gain incredible insights through mutual collaboration. My role involves overseeing processes and providing support to colleagues to ensure that operational and managerial processes continuously improve. Good relationships with partner-clients are key to our success, and maintaining and enhancing these relationships allows us to hold a leading position in the market when it comes to certification. Our team at INTERCERT DOO consists of a group of experts with whom I have the privilege to work and find solutions that contribute to the development of a standardization culture in Serbia and the region.

    I am a graduate Chemist specializing in quality control and environmental management, and I completed my studies at the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad. I became a part of the Intercert team in 2016, and the first thing I learned is that ISO standards can be applied to all areas of industry and technology. The dynamic nature of this job inspired me to further my education, while my curiosity for new challenges helped me overcome a large number of new situations. The position of COO naturally emerged with the expansion of the team and the growth of the organization, and it now involves managing processes and organizing Backoffice resources. I found my role as a Lead Auditor for numerous standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 5001, and others after my first field experience when I realized that this type of collaboration with partners requires knowledge of both the standards and the client's business itself. Each contact with clients opens the door to new acquaintances and challenges.

    As the most experienced member of the backoffice sector, I provide support in the implementation of certification services across a wide range of activities. I am familiar with administrative tasks, communication with partners and certification bodies, propose solutions for new challenges, understand accreditation rules, and have a strong desire to ensure that checks are conducted diligently and correctly. I place great importance on training new collaborators and transferring knowledge to those who need it, as this is the foundation of personal development. I believe that business should be focused on continuous quality improvement in the delivery of assessment services through dedication and perseverance. Nearly a decade of work has provided me with the opportunity to enhance my knowledge in all areas of business, including understanding ISO management systems, communication, management, training, and logistical support. Team spirit, a pleasant working atmosphere, and a dynamic yet calm environment are part of our daily life.

    As a Planning Coordinator, my main role is to plan audits, which involves processing data through logistical processes to ensure everything operates in a coordinated manner with minimal delays. My studies in Engineering Management helped me acquire theoretical knowledge about standards and organizational processes during my education, and I later realized how theory and practice intertwine and complement each other. In addition to this, I hold certificates in the standards for Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management, and Occupational Health and Safety, enabling me to conduct audits within these areas. What I enjoy the most is the dynamics of our daily work, which keeps our team in constant interaction with each other.

    As a Sales Manager, my primary role is communication with clients, which primarily involves excellent listening skills to identify clients' needs and requirements and respond to them in the best possible way. My studies in economics helped me gain knowledge in finance and marketing, which significantly improved my ability to research potential markets and qualify potential clients. Additionally, training in psychology and negotiation has allowed me to approach the entire sales process in a unique manner. Our orientation toward our partners' needs has led to a high number of referrals due to fulfilling those needs and requirements at a level beyond expectations. The dynamic nature of sales is why I am building my career in this field, which involves frequent travel, contracting, and conducting meetings and presentations, as well as daily communication with all sectors within organizations to ensure a satisfied client as the final result. All of this is very challenging and carries a certain level of satisfaction for people who enjoy being constantly in action.

    As a Master’s degree holder in Food Technology, with my experience in production and many years of consulting experience in management systems and other standards related to food safety, I serve as a Lead Auditor for the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, and others at Intercert doo. Additionally, I hold certifications as an external senior auditor, which qualify me to teach the aforementioned standards. I see further opportunities to enhance my knowledge by achieving competencies in IFS, BRC, and GMP+, which will certainly aid in my personal development and the improvement of food safety controls in the region where I conduct audits. Intercert DOO has provided me with the opportunity to continue enhancing my acquired knowledge in these areas and to increase my qualifications in the field of auditing, as well as to assist younger colleagues in their development, knowledge acquisition, motivation, teamwork, and fostering a positive work environment.

    Ana is the office manager of INTERCERT in Belgrade as well as the QMS manager for the entire INTERCERT system. She is responsible for all activities related to the Belgrade office, as well as for harmonizing work processes between the branch offices, auditors, associates, and other stakeholders through the development and implementation of requirements in management systems. What she values most about INTERCERT is working in a dynamic international environment with a creative and ambitious team, along with opportunities for professional and personal development.

    First and foremost, I respect ethics, equality, and human rights. I take an innovative approach to solving emerging challenges and am detail-oriented, creative, persistent, open, and fair. My work is based on verifying the social responsibility of clients through standards such as SEDEX SMETA audit, SA 8000, and others. Some of the main challenges include raising awareness about ethics among clients and suppliers, as well as verifying client risk management regarding bribery and anti-corruption efforts. With my knowledge of management systems, I contribute to the successful execution of back-office tasks while ensuring effective communication and collaboration with certification bodies and partners. I strive for continuous improvement, advancement, and acquiring new knowledge and skills that I can transparently share with others. In recent years, I have expanded my specific knowledge in the areas of legal affairs and public procurement.

    As a graduate economist, Intercert has provided me with the opportunity to improve myself in two areas. The positions of certification agent and accountant have allowed me to develop various skills and abilities in the fields of management system certification and finance, both of which are equally important for effective job performance and functioning in a business environment. It is inspiring to work in a team where there is a spirit of collaboration and where we all strive for the same goal, while each individual has the opportunity for personal development and advancement.

    I am pleased to introduce myself as an IT auditor for the certification of ISO standards in various areas of information and industrial activities. With my detailed knowledge of the latest trends and challenges in the IT sector, I play a key role in ensuring that your organization meets the highest standards of information security. My in-depth analysis of systems, risk identification, and improvement recommendations enable you to provide a secure environment for your business and clients. In addition, I advocate for the promotion and enhancement of best practices in the field of information security, providing secure services and business continuity. By utilizing the knowledge I have gained in management systems, particularly ISO/IEC 27001, I can offer maintenance and enhancement of reputation and information security systems through independent audits. I am proud to be part of this team and confident that my expertise and experience will provide benefits for our partners.

    At InterCert DOO, I am responsible for financial and accounting tasks that require special dedication and daily monitoring of changes in laws and regulations. The experience I have gained over the years enables me to perform this job diligently and responsibly, where in communication with colleagues, partners, and our service users, I contribute to achieving the company’s common goals. It is a pleasure to be part of an ambitious team and to witness the continuous progress of the business and the achievement of shared successes.

    Due to my many years of experience as an internal auditor and manager of SEVESO facilities in companies involved in food production, storage, transportation, and distribution of various hazardous materials, I decided to further enhance my knowledge as an external Lead Auditor. I have been actively conducting audits from the very beginning as a lead auditor for standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Subsequently, I gained experience and improved my skills in standards ISO 37001, ISO 39001, ISO 50001, ISO 28001, SCC, and GDP. My knowledge of a wide range of standards presents a business challenge and an opportunity to get acquainted with different types of companies. Today, it is my strong desire to get accredited and gain knowledge in the area of the SQAS standard, so I can further conduct audits in transportation and add this standard to my portfolio.

    After completing my academic studies, I had the opportunity to start my IT career as an IT security administrator in a gaming organization, which allowed me to become familiar with security protocols and standards in the IT industry. As an IT Auditor, what I find most interesting is that through my clients, I always learn about the technologies and applications that are currently popular, why they chose them, and what the next new thing will be. Working at Intercert is a great pleasure for me due to the relaxed atmosphere and colleagues who are always ready to help, offer advice, and be accommodating.

    As a student at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, I realized the importance of continuous learning and improvement. My first introduction to ISO standards occurred during my studies, and this continued professionally at INTERCERT as part of a new team. One of my key responsibilities in my job is selecting qualified auditors who will conduct checks and assessments of compliance with ISO standard requirements. This process requires careful selection, skill evaluation, and ensuring that auditors are trained to properly assess and recommend improvements to achieve compliance with standard requirements. Through the issuance of certificates, maintenance of ISO standards, and effective communication and collaboration with international certification bodies, our team achieves the highest quality standards in our business and continues to develop to achieve exceptional results in the market.

    As a GlobalGAP auditor with experience in agronomy and microbiology, I have developed a deep appreciation for the importance of sustainable agriculture based on scientific and technological advancements and good agricultural practices. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature and indulging my passion for alpinism, rock climbing, and mycology. There is something truly magical about being surrounded by the beauty of nature and discovering the secrets of the world around us, from the smallest microorganisms to the largest mountains. Photography and the identification of wild mushrooms is one of my favorite activities and passions, as it combines my love for nature with my scientific background in microbiology. There is nothing quite like the thrill of discovering rare or unusual species of fungi, and I enjoy studying their unique properties. Through my work as a GlobalGAP auditor and my personal interests in nature and microbiology, I constantly strive to promote sustainable agriculture and protect our environment for future generations.

    Marjan Urekar

    Persistent in her versatility. Born in Kruševac. She holds a master's degree in agro-economics from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Belgrade. Considering her knowledge of the agricultural and food sectors, as well as her activities in agricultural production, Slađana focuses on food quality and safety. Her expertise is reflected in her successful understanding of standards in the food industry, such as the GLOBALG.A.P. standard, as well as its introduction and implementation. In addition to the GLOBALG.A.P. standard, Slađana is well-versed in the requirements of the HACCP system and aims to further develop her competencies in other standards for food and beverage safety and quality, such as IFS, BRC, FSSC 22000, and ISO 22000. For her, InterCert is a place where she can express all her potentials. Additionally, it contributes to her career development through training, a sense of community based on mutual social grounds, and the opportunity for new activities and out-of-the-box thinking.

    When you contact Intercert, there's a good chance you'll meet me first :). My role as a Front Desk Assistant is to ensure an efficient and seamless flow of information, both for clients and for the members of the organization. I also work daily to ensure that the operations in our office run smoothly, providing everyone with exactly what they need to perform their jobs without interruption. This position combines two things I love—organization and teamwork—making my workdays in our office flow effortlessly. I am glad to be part of the InterCert team, where openness, professionalism, personal development, and positive interpersonal relationships are nurtured.

    After many years of experience in the wood industry and long-term collaboration with the Accreditation Body of Serbia in the field of evaluation, I considered that engaging with one of the certification bodies was a logical continuation of my career. I have been with Intercert practically since the beginning of its intensive development. I brought relevant knowledge and experience in my areas of expertise into the organization, but in return, I gained much more: working in a stimulating environment, freedom and autonomy in my work and decision-making, and opportunities for professional growth and development. Over the years, I have built a relationship with the management based on mutual trust and respect. As a Lead Auditor for FSC CoC standards since 2014, I strive to encourage businesses to adopt and implement ecological and social standards in their operations, thereby contributing to the creation of more humane working and living conditions for employees and society as a whole.

    I began my professional career after graduating from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade. For many years, I worked at the holding corporation "GOŠA" in product development, introducing new technologies, and transferring products and technologies to Russia. I led a team to establish a joint venture for the production of railway vehicles in Harbin, China. Following this period, I recognized the need to enhance my knowledge of management and standards, so I attended the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, completing specialist studies in management. For several years, I have also worked as the Technical Director at Vatrosprem Production in Belgrade. Additionally, I have served as an external collaborator and Technical Expert at the Accreditation Body of Serbia. Currently, I work as a Lead Assessor at INTERCERT DOO. Our job is not only to evaluate the level of implementation and application of ISO Standards but also to share best practices and experiences with our partners. A satisfied client who recommends us to other companies is our mutual success.

    I have many years of experience in quality management and auditing management systems. Since 1994, I have worked in positions related to quality management, including the implementation and maintenance of management systems. As the Chief Inspector for ISO at "Jugoinspekt" in Novi Sad, I provided verification services in the area of management systems. At the Scientific Institute for Field and Vegetable Crops, I am enhancing my knowledge in product quality control, as well as establishing QMS and EMS systems, and working on laboratory accreditation projects according to ISO 17021. I am a proud owner of the company "Quo Vadis," which is a major partner of INTERCERT. I graduated from the Faculty of Technology in Novi Sad, specializing in chemical engineering, and I have a strong inclination towards continuous improvement in new standards and techniques.

    My professional adventure began through an internship at Intercert, where I gained invaluable experience and laid the foundation for my future success. After completing my undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, I had the opportunity to join the Intercert team. My current engagement allows me to apply theoretical knowledge in a real business environment and develop practical skills that are essential for my future career.

    My passion for dynamic work and problem-solving led me to this wonderful company, where I found my place. After completing my studies in quality and logistics, I applied for a position at Intercert, and after just a few months of collaboration, I felt as if I had been part of this team for years. My greatest wish is to maintain this extraordinary work atmosphere, where we support each other and create success together. Additionally, I want to enhance quality standards in the fields of ecology and occupational safety to provide our clients and partners with the best possible expert support.
